I have been gambling on the internet or at brick and mortar gambling halls for a good many years. I have learned, the fixation is able to acquire a hold of you and you will not even notice it until you are bankrupt. Notably if you are on a scoring streak. I have gone through uncounted hundreds of dollars in a very little period of time and still on occasion, I will go too far. It seems you are only having fun up until you make a decision to track your losses and the anguish settles in, and of course you continue telling yourself "I am able to gain the funds back" ad nauseam. It does not work. Then you feel icky in your abdomen and the more you attempt the faster you spend.
When you observe that you are up, STAY on the UP! When you begin to squander, do not inform yourself, "well only 1 more" and again and again, trust me, this plan RARELY ever functions. Say you are betting on one armed bandits, keep a value separate before beginning your play. DO NOT go over that cap, regardless of how appealing. If you happen to win, put the winnings in an alternate cup. Do not risk your profits at any cost. After you have played through your initial predetermined threshold, stop. Call it quits, whether it is on the internet or in a land based gambling hall, do not stay around. Always remember, there will be another day, other times. Obviously, this tactic can function for any game that you wager on, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, blackjack or any other game.
Keep in mind, gambling should be exciting not exhausting, sickening work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you do not belong at the casinos. If you cannot afford the hit, don’t even begin.
