If you like to have a beverage from time to time, leave your money at home if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your purse, your money belt, and keep all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks at home. Only take whatever money you intend to spend on beverages, tips and whatever pocket change you anticipate to lose and keep the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Realistic more like. You could experience a success after a drunken evening out with your friends and be lucky sufficiently to hook a long toss at a hot craps table. Don’t forget that account considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you regularly drink and gamble. These activities just do not mix.
Keeping your money back at the hotel might be a little bit excessive, but preventative actions for drastic behavior is essential. If you bet to profit, then don’t drink alcohol and gamble. If you like to be wasteful with your $$$$ nary a concern, then drink all the free beer your stomach can handle, but don’t carry charge cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your drunk as a skunk head squanders all the cash!
Allow me to carry this a single step further. do not consume alcohol and then go on the internet to gamble in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my condo, but due to the fact that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink and wager.
What’s the reason? Even though I don’t drink a lot, once I consume alcohol, it is certainly enough to cloud my common sense. I gamble, so I do not drink when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. When mixed, both create a decimating, and costly, drink.
